Your story deserves to be heard
The Velvet Signal is a podcast that celebrates fiction authors with the respect and depth they deserve. We're looking for romance writers, fiction authors, and storytellers who want a real conversation about their craft, their characters, and the stories that keep readers turning pages past midnight.
Not a five-minute promo spot. We do our homework, read your work, and ask the questions your readers want answered. This is long-form, thoughtful, and genuine.
We feature your book, your links, and your story front and center. Every episode page includes direct links to your work, your website, and your social platforms.
The Velvet Signal attracts listeners who love great storytelling. Your episode lives permanently on our site, podcast platforms, and YouTube for readers to discover you.
I'm a straight guy with a deep voice and a genuine love for great storytelling. I may be a stranger in your world, and that's okay. That's what makes the conversation real. I'm not here to judge your genre. I'm here to celebrate it.
"I will read your book. I will do my research. I will ask you the questions that matter. And I will give you and your work the love and respect you deserve."
Whether you write steamy romance, literary fiction, dark suspense, or something that defies every label on the shelf, I want to hear your story. Not just the one in the book, but the one behind it. Why you write. What drives you. What scene kept you up at 3 AM reworking it until it was perfect.
This isn't mockery. This is a love letter to authors who pour their souls onto the page.
Published authors, indie authors, debut authors, legends, and rising stars. If you've written a book with passion, heart, and heat, we want to talk to you.
Don't see your genre? Reach out anyway. Great storytelling has no boundaries.
Before the Interview: We read your book. We research your career. We come prepared with real questions, not generic ones.
The Format: A relaxed 35-45 minute conversation. We open with a reading from your work, then dive into the stories behind the stories. Remote via Zoom or in-studio if you're in the Salt Lake City area.
Your Platform: Promote your latest book, upcoming releases, or anything you're working on. We'll link everything on your episode page.
Review Copy: We take preparation seriously. If you'd like The Wolf to read your work before the interview, we kindly ask that you provide a review copy - digital, audiobook, or physical. This ensures we come prepared to give your book the deep, informed conversation it deserves.
After the Episode: You get a dedicated episode page on our site, promotion across our social channels, and a permanent home for new readers to discover you and your work.
